In elementary school, all students will be required to wear a face cover when moving around the school, but not during recess.

The fifth and sixth graders will have to wear it to class. However, it is not yet determined whether the face covering should be worn in physical education classes.

It is certain that it will be quite a management for the teaching staff because they are still young students, we will have to remind them, help them in this, raise their awareness, but our students learn quickly all the same. , they will be able to adapt, says the director of educational services at the Rouyn-Noranda School Service Center, Anne-Frédérique Karsenti, who says that a new email with details will be sent to parents.

For high school students, the procedural mask must be worn at all times, both outside and inside the school.

The Rouyn-Noranda School Services Center also claims to be awaiting a response from the government regarding the wearing of masks in high school physical education classes.
