Many people already came to the pharmacy with the expectation that they could get a free flu vaccine without a prescription. “But the Royal Decree on this has not yet been published in the Official Journal and, moreover, there are not enough vaccines available at the moment,” says Lieven Zwaenepoel of the Apothekersbond. “The vaccine is not free either, but the patient contribution has decreased.”
