Dunajská Streda entered the match in order to erase the one-goal deficit from the first match. The first shot came from the foot of the home team, when in the 3th minute Divkovič threatened from a sharp angle, Popovič finally sent the ball to the corner. The beginning of the match indicated that the Serbian team will not rush into the attack. This was confirmed by the first fifteen-minute period, when he had more ball on DAC’s feet, but he did not get into chances. After 19 minutes, following yet another great corner, Vujačič knocked the ball to the limit of Jedlička’s reach, who just couldn’t put it in the net. In the 20th minute, Partizan took the lead from the first chance. After a corner kick, Natcho passed the bounced ball back to Pantič, who opened the score. With 26 minutes played, Sharani had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors’ lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but Popovič was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. Even after the leading goal, Dunajská Streda remained with an offensive taste, but failed to develop a more significant opportunity. In the last minute of the set time, Partizan caused a stir in the penalty area of the home team, the ball got behind the defense to Ricardo, who was caught by Jedlička from three meters with the help of a stick.

The image of the game did not change in the second half either. The DAC continued to attack, controlling the middle of the field, but without significant chances. Partizan waited for possible breaks, from which even the Serbian team did not get much water. After 69 minutes Schäfer could have reduced the lead with a blistering strike from the left wing, had it not been for an excellent block by the visitors’ keeper. From the subsequent corner kick, DAC was able to level it again, the center of the ball was sent by Schäfer to the post. With 77 minutes played, Taiwo nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. Balič’s free kick was easily saved by Popovič. With 80 minutes played, Divkovič could have brought this one home for Popovič as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. In the 80th minute, Partizan increased the lead. After Zdjelar’s pass Ricardo from the five sent the ball into the net – 2: 0. A free kick just outside of the visitors’ penalty area after 84 minutes could have resulted in another goal, but Balič got a hand out and tipped the ball over the bar. In the end, the DAC did not win the promotion, after two losses and a score of 0: 3, he finished in European competitions.
