Concerts of the group «Instruments» «Beautifully strange» on Mežaparks stage / Article

Fans of the group “Instruments” gathered on the Grand Stage of Mežaparks for three evenings to enjoy the group’s concert series “Beautifully Strange”.

At the end of the summer – on the last weekend of August – the group “Instruments” invited its listeners to concerts of a special atmosphere on the Grand Stage of Mežaparks. In addition to the specially prepared program, which featured the band’s most popular songs in Latvian, concert attendees could also watch an impressive light show and various special effects, as well as enjoy the performance of surprise guests.

Rapper ansis joined the stage to perform the hit “Memory Problems” released in 2019. The listeners of the concerts experienced a breathtaking and very touching moment during the song “Milk Road” by Imants Kalniņš, performed jointly by “Instrumentu” and the Riga Dome Choir School, performed by the boys’ choir together with Reini Sējāns and Jānis Šipkēvics while standing in the Mežaparks Grand Stage choir.

The members of the group emphasize that the opportunity to perform on the Mežaparks Grand Stage is a special adventure for every Latvian musician and the significance of the Mežaparks Grand Stage in Latvian culture not only imposes a kind of responsibility, but also inspires to create memorable feelings and concerts.

“Beautifully strange” concerts were intended for a small number of visitors, which, together with music, scenography, lights and contrast of scale, created an unusual atmosphere on the Grand Stage of Mežaparks and a different concert experience of the group “Instruments”.
