AMSTERDAM – It is brewing in Dutch schools, after the beheading of the French teacher Samuel Paty. A teacher who has gone into hiding, a teacher who is under threat: our country is also struggling with Muslim students who do not accept liberal views in classrooms. The problem needs to be tackled very quickly and very firmly, says Kai Pattipilohy, director of Diversion, an agency that develops programs for social issues, including for schools.
