Atlanta United FC defeated Club America 1-0 on Wednesday in Orlando, but still lost that CONCACAF Champions League quarter-final by a cumulative score of 3-1.

Club America, who play in La Liga MX, won the first leg 3-0 at Estadio Azteca in March.
On Wednesday, the Georgia state club attempted ten strikes, seven of which were on target. Goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa made six saves, however, only yielding to Jackson Conway in the 82e minute. At the other end of the field, Brad Guzan has only been put to the test once.
Marcelino Moreno then received a red card in the 90e minute, forcing the American club to evolve to ten players for the remainder of the game.
Club America will face the winner of the La Liga MX duel between Los Angeles FC and Cruz Azul in the semi-finals, which was scheduled to take place late Wednesday night.
