Comrade Assembly – ÖKB Hollabrunn did good again in 2023 and honored its members

The 37th annual general meeting of ÖKB Hollabrunn took place in the Gasthaus Reisinger. The balance of the past club year was extremely positive. Of particular note was the pilgrimage for world peace held for the first time in the Maria Roggendorf Basilica, which will take place every year from now on. Fritz Strasser, head of the air rifle shooting section, reported on successful participation in competitions. A large delegation also took part in the blessing of the newly built house chapel of the Ylvie project in Breitenwaida. As part of this, a chalice with a container purchased from the Vatican City was presented. The dental costs for a needy boy were also covered.

Vienna’s ÖKB President Erich Woller gave the keynote speech. Words of greeting and thanks were expressed by local councilor Bernhard Wagner, state parliament member Michael Sommer and the vice president of the Austrian Black Cross, Friedrich Ehn.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of awards to deserving members. Chairman Alfred Deimbacher thanked those present for their great commitment to the public good and for the numerous outreaches.
