There will be a complete closure on the A52 until October 10th and a large-scale diversion will be in place. What drivers need to know.

Kaarst – The next complete motorway closure for drivers in North Rhine-Westphalia: Anyone who wants to drive to Roermond in the Netherlands in the coming days will have to allow more time. Since Thursday (October 5th) at 9 p.m. and until Tuesday (October 10th) at 5 a.m., the A52 has been completely closed between the Kaarst-Nord junction and the Neersen motorway junction in the direction of Roermond.

The Schiefbahn junction and the Cloerbruch rest area in the direction of Roermond are also affected by the closure. Autobahn GmbH Rheinland is renovating the road during this time. A large-scale diversion will take place from the Kaarst motorway junction on the A57 in the direction of Krefeld via the A44 in the direction of Mönchengladbach-Ost and then back onto the A52 at the Neersen motorway junction. Visitors to Borussia Park should use the A44 to get there.
