Compensation premium and workstation adaptation

What is that ? This is financial assistance granted to the employer to cover the costs of adapting the workplace of an employee with a disability. These adaptations refer to the layout of the workplace, the purchase of equipment, etc. This financial intervention has a maximum duration of 1 year but can be renewed.
This assistance is granted only if the adaptation is essential to the continuation of the activity or the training, it will be an agent designated by AViQ who will analyze the situation as well as the measures taken by the employee.

How much is the financial assistance? The financial intervention is equivalent to a reimbursement of a maximum of 45% of part of the salary cost payable by the company.

What are the conditions for being entitled to this assistance?

Regarding the employer, the company must respect its legal obligations

With regard to the disabled worker:

  • he must have his disability recognized by the Agency
  • he must have signed an employment contract or be under regulatory status (public service) and must receive his salary in full.
