Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – If you are considering buying a premium cellphone, the iPhone 15 from Apple or the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5 duo are the options on the market today
One thing that could be taken into consideration is the level of internet speed. Internet speed testing firm Ookla released a comparison report between the iPhone 15 series and the Galaxy Flip 5 and Fold 5.
Testing was carried out in several countries, namely Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Philippines, South Korea, Spain, United Arab Emirates, England, United States (US), and Vietnam.
It should be noted that internet speed performance on cellphones is also determined by several factors in each country. For example, 5G network investment from the government and cellular operators, differences in 5G spectrum allocation, and 5G mobile network packages.
Testing was held from September 22 to October 20 for iPhones, and August 11 to October 20 for Samsung cellphones.
In Australia, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is the cellphone with the fastest internet with an average download speed of 265.88 Mbps and upload of 18.64 Mbps. The latency level is 31 ms.
Below that is the Galaxy Z Flip 5, followed by the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 and Galaxy Z Fold 5.
In Brazil, the iPhone 15 ranks first with a download speed of 533.32 Mbps, upload of 35.61 Mbps and latency of 33 ms. Below that are the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and Galaxy Z Fold 5.
Overall, in various countries the majority of the iPhone 15 series is in first place beating Samsung cellphones in terms of internet speed.
Only the Philippines noted that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 had faster internet capabilities than the iPhone 15 series. The average download speed was 141.20 Mbps, upload 12.82 Mbps, and latency 35 ms.
