Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — PT Bank Jago Tbk. (ARTO) and PT Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk. (BANK), the two issuers of prospective digital banks with the hottest share price increases until Friday (30/7/2021), have released their respective performance reports for the first semester of 2021.

From various indicators, it seems that both companies have made efforts to improve. Although, in terms of the progress of these indicators, both are at different levels.

The first name, ARTO, has shown a promising business stretch. During the first 6 months of this year, the company has been able to pump loans and Third Party Funds (DPK) significantly.

As of the end of June 2021, the bank, which was acquired by the joint venture banker Jerry Ng and the Northstar Group, posted credit disbursements of IDR 2.17 trillion, or grew 139.12 percent from the realization at the end of last year.

Around Rp1.03 trillion or 47.7 percent of these loans are consumer loans. Then, Rp875.2 billion or 40.3 percent is working capital loans and the rest is divided into related party loans and investment loans.

At the same time, Bank Jago’s DPK grew by 114.71 percent in 6 months. To be precise, from Rp803.94 billion to Rp1.72 trillion.
