The Financial Market Authority (FMA) filed for bankruptcy with Mattersburg Commercial Bank at the Eisenstadt Regional Court on Monday. According to the interim report by government commissioner Bernhard Mechtler, the bank is over-indebted with 528 million euros, as the FMA announced. In addition, she was insolvent, so there was no positive prognosis for continued existence.
