Commercial vehicle center: self-sufficient in summer

The Herbrand Group’s commercial vehicle business has moved. With its new building, the North Rhine-Westphalian retailer is focusing on sustainable energy supply and digitization.

The center started operations in February. Construction took just under 22 months.

There are many different approaches to reducing one’s own ecological footprint, and everyone can make their contribution – including through a commercial vehicle center. This is proven by the North Rhine-Westphalian Mercedes trading group Herbrand, which has centralized its commercial vehicle business on a 50,000 square meter site.

Before that, the dealer had two locations in Mönchengladbach and Krefeld, which, in addition to Mercedes cars, were also dedicated to commercial vehicles. Now he has transferred the latter segment to the new company in Krefeld-Fichtenhain halfway, explains a company spokesman. And if you are already tackling such an extensive project, you can design it according to your own ideas in terms of sustainable building technology.
