My family doctor is 65. He has a private practice in town. He’s a good diagnostician. Touch, listen, talk – he can find out a lot with these simple means. And of course his vast experience helps. He regularly takes part in quality circles. He was one of the first to join a network of doctors. When he stops, his general practitioner practice closes. He has given up hope of finding a successor.
The Swiss healthcare system, which has no restrictions on medical services, is attractive to investors from outside the industry.
