Young people have done well
The young people of the IME des Graviers, an establishment managed by Fol 58, directed by Stéphane Goutorbe, participated, for the ninth consecutive year, in the competition of the association Hippocampe which is organizing, on the sidelines of the Angoulême festival, comic book aimed at different audiences.
Thus, Jason, Julien, Gabriel, Rudy, Céline, Manon and Léa, supervised by Sophie Faivre, specialized teacher, Martial Glaunig, specialized educator, and Manon Brefort, in civic service at the IME, participated in this prestigious competition. They went to Angoulême to participate and receive the Hippocampe d’Or prize awarded by a jury of around forty members led by the president, Mireille Malot and the honorary president, Franck Margerin.
Through the rigor of their work, since the start of the school year in mid-December, these young enthusiasts have won the Hippocampe d’Or for the third time. Great perseverance: in fact, over the course of nine participations, the IME won three Sea Hippocampuses, a first special prize for 20 year olds, three collective Seahorses, a second price and a third price.
Each year, the team is practically renewed by the contribution of new talents. An exception with Julien who has three successive participations to his credit. He would like to make comics his main activity.
Currently, the pyramid of the town hall hosts, until Thursday, February 27, a remarkable exhibition presenting the individual and collective boards presented during these nine years in Angoulême.
