Comedian Maksims Galkin, recognized as a foreign agent in Russia, will perform again in Jurmala

It should be recalled that last summer Galkin surprised the guests of the Dzintari concert hall with a performance in Latvian. His performance became an internet hit.

It has already been reported that the parodist and TV presenter Galkin, who has condemned the war started by Russia in Ukraine, was included in the Russian register of natural persons who “perform the functions of a foreign agent” in 2022.

After Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he was in Israel, where he sharply criticized the war in his concerts. The artist spent the last summer in Latvia with his family, but now he is back in Israel with his wife Alla Pugačova and children.

The Ministry of Justice of Russia, adding to the register of natural persons – “foreign agents”, claimed that Galkin was engaged in political activity, receiving funding or other forms of assistance from Ukraine.

Galkin still expresses his condemnation of Russia through social networks. He recently posted an emotional message on Instagram about the events in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, where a Russian missile killed 30 people.
