Colorful Street Art Festival in St. Peter the Dersperr: Free Shows, Performances, and Activities

A colorful program awaits visitors. From gymnastics, art, fire to music, comedy, magic to games and sports. Famous artists and great shows offer outdoor entertainment of a very special kind On May 18 there will also be three shows to be found in the Museum of St. Peter the dersperre with free admission as part of the museum’s spring. As part of the festival, the Brodtischgasse meeting place will also be ceremonially opened on May 18 at 11am.

“The festival excites with its creativity, builds a positive impact on artistic skills of international quality and also provides a strong cultural and economic boost to the center of our city. This year we have the lucky coincidence that the spring of the museum will take place at the same time on May 18th in our museum in St. Peter the Dersperr. Stop by and experience three shows with free admission. We look forward to many visitors on this cultural weekend and invite you to experience our city center in all its colors and aspects,” said Mayor Klaus Schneeberger, Councilor City for Culture Franz Piribauer and City Councilor Erika Buchinger.

On Friday, the colorful street.art.parade of artists moves from the city theater to Marienmarkt. Afterwards, the City Councilor for Culture Franz Piribauer opens the festival on the main square, surrounded by performances by the Danceadora ballet school and the MÄX Dance Team. On Saturday there will be spectacular performances and a varied children’s program to participate in at eight locations on the main square and in the three pedestrian zones.

From acts to departmental actions to side actions

Also there: Andy Snatch with his British comedy circus show; Creme & Brulè with fantastic fire and clown show; the X Caso duo with a mix of circus, theater and comedy; Unicycling world champion Janna, Pancho Libre with his acrobatic performance from Mexico and the Soul Project to breakdance rhythms. As well as the regional acts Ortner4Dance and the Lemour pantomimes. Side acts include the stilt walkers “The Weird Birds”, the mirror walking act “Mirror Man” and there is also music from “Perlen on the Rocks”. Juggling courses at Circus Stoffl await at the children’s stations; Face painting by Birgit Dissauer (Funny Faces); the skate school Skate4fun and the classic children’s carousel. The spring museum in St. Peter the dersperre

From May 1 to 31, the Museum Guide of Lower Austria invites you to the national museum spring. The Museum of St. Peter an dersperre is also there and visitors can see three exhibitions with free entry on 18 May:

· tell your new town – a journey through history

· “With and without words” – a hands-on exhibition by the Children’s Museum ZOOM Vienna. Start times are 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm and 4pm

· “Knight. What do we dream of them and what were they like? “ with a ranger tour at 11am and 2pm
