Russian troops are practically in the south of Bakhmut, said a former adviser to the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
The city of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, is threatened by the fate of the city of Severodonetsk, which is located in the Luhansk region.

“… Our troops are retreating to other fortifications. Now there is a big battle for Bakhmut. Russian troops are practically in the south of Bakhmut. Tank shelling is being carried out. Therefore, if there is an opportunity for local residents to evacuate, it is better to do it. The fate of Bakhmut may be the same as near Severodonetsk,” the source said.
