Colombian Football Star Luis Diaz’s Father Kidnapped in Barranca: Urgent Call for Help

Barranca

Parent Luis Diaz kidnapped in Colombia, with his father still missing. Star Liverpool finally opened his voice by making a touching upload.

On his Instagram account, Luis Diaz shared an upload inviting his fans to take action to free his father. The post contains an invitation to the people of Colombia to bring candles to pray for his father’s safety.

The Colombian community is expected to gather at Parque del Cementerio, Barranca, La Guajira, Colombia, on Tuesday (31/10/2023) at five in the afternoon. The words ‘Free him now’ were also displayed on the action poster.

In the video shared on social media, Luis Diaz’s upload was able to intrigue the public. The Colombian people flocked to unite in support. They came carrying white balloons and held a long march, hoping that Luis Diaz’s father would be released.

Previously, both parents Luis Diaz kidnapped in Colombia, before Liverpool played Nottingham Forest last weekend. His mother, Cilenis Marulanda, was later released by the kidnappers.

However, his father, Luis Manuel, is still missing today. This news means that Diaz will not be played by Liverpool to focus on his family.

The Reds also expressed their sympathy for Luis Diaz. Several of his colleagues also provided support on the field, by celebrating their colleagues.

Luis Diaz’s parents were kidnapped by a gang while shopping. After his mother was released, officers are now trying to find his father, even holding a contest with a prize of 200 million pesos or the equivalent of Rp. 769 million for those who can find Luis Manuel.

There are allegations that his father was taken to Venezuela by kidnappers. Hope Luis Diaz’s father can be found soon.

Stay strong, Luis Diaz!
