Collective Prayer and Iftar Celebration in Times Square during Ramadan 2023 in New York

Since the arrival of Ramadan, a warm atmosphere reigns in our streets and in our homes. Iftar and collective prayer to Times Square for US Algerians

This Sunday, March 26, a large gathering of Muslims formed in the middle of Times Square, New York. The group, which numbered hundreds of believers, came together to perform the prayer of the Taraweeh right on the street. This is not the first time that such an event has taken place in New York. During Ramadan 2022, a collective prayer of Taraweeh had also been organized and reached by hundreds of devotees. A gesture that breaks the separatist stigma and strengthens the ties between the communities of the region.
