Tangerang Regency, bidiktangsel.com – The Tangerang Regency Health Service (Dinkes) is collaborating with several community health centers and health facilities to anticipate the spread of monkey pox.
The Health Department also monitors people who experience complaints of monkey pox.
Head of the Tangerang Regency Health Office, dr. Achmad Muchlis, MARS explained, to date there have been no cases of monkey pox in Tangerang Regency.
This is thanks to the prevention efforts that have been carried out by various parties, especially health workers.

“Currently, thank God, there are no recorded cases, all of us and the health workers continue to try and provide education so that people know what they cannot do and stay away from it to avoid monkey pox,” said Muchlis.
Muchlis appealed to people who experience symptoms similar to monkey pox to immediately check themselves at the nearest health facility.
The public is asked not to jump to conclusions because there are many other possible diseases that could occur.
“We will always update regarding this monkeypox case. If someone is infected with monkey pox, we will definitely publish it. All health facilities such as community health centers and hospitals also have a surveillance team, where this team will track in 29 sub-districts and 44 community health centers so that we can all be alert regarding this case,” he explained.

Muchlis hopes that with all the efforts made by the Health Office together with various health facilities, Tangerang Regency can be protected from infectious diseases such as monkey pox and other infectious diseases.
“The reason is that monkey pox is a contagious disease that can infect anyone, therefore I hope that people can live healthily, not engage in casual sex or come into contact with monkeypox sufferers,” he hoped.
As an anticipation, the Tangerang Regency Health Office has prepared an isolation room at the Tangerang Regency Regional General Hospital (RSUD). The isolation room will be used to treat monkey pox patients if they are found in Tangerang Regency.
