This Saturday, May 22, a series of vaccination events against COVID-19 will take place, for adolescents and adults from 12 years of age and older in seven schools of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System (CMS).
CMS will conduct these vaccination clinics in partnership with local healthcare providers such as: Charlotte Community Health Clinic, Mecklenburg County Public Health (MCPH), Walgreens, Atrium Health, Novant Health, StarMed HealthCare, and VaxClinic.
The activities will be vaccinating students, school personnel, parents and in general families and members of the community who wish to take advantage of this opportunity.
According to the CMS, interested parties can register for an appointment, or they can walk to the most convenient school without an appointment.
Mecklenburg County residents who need transportation to immunization appointments should contact the Mecklenburg Transportation System at: 980-314-7600. They can also dial 1-844-771-7433, RideUnited service.
