The Masonite company is closing its doors in Lac-Mégantic.
According to Radio-Canada Estrie, the news was confirmed by the Central of Democratic Unions (CSD). The employees went on strike last February due to a dispute over wages and group insurance. The management of the factory specializing in wood framing had decreed a lockout afterwards.
In all, 180 employees are affected. They will be notified by registered mail within the next few days.
