The activities of the Third International Defense Industries Exhibition concluded. EDEX 2023 “Which was organized from 4 to 7 December at the Egypt Center for International Exhibitions and Conferences under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, with the participation of major exhibitors and international companies in the field of armament, defense and security industries at the regional and international levels, and in the presence of many defense ministers. Chiefs of Staff and high-level military delegations from various countries of the world.
The exhibition witnessed a large audience presence during its four days from various nationalities of the world, reflecting the extent of the success of organizing this international event on the territory of Egypt, in addition to the active participation of various major international armament companies and Egypt’s participation in a distinguished pavilion containing advanced military industries that express Egypt’s correct path towards the nationalization of the field. Armament and defense industries, which contribute to refining Egypt’s pivotal role as one of the most important leadership centers in the region.
The exhibition’s activities also witnessed, throughout its days, extensive meetings with Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, commanders of the main branches, and senior commanders of the armed forces with delegations of participating countries and major international armament companies, with the aim of strengthening Relations of military cooperation and strategic partnership with friendly and brotherly countries, while the defense ministers and chiefs of staff of friendly and brotherly countries expressed during the meetings their great happiness in attending the activities of the exhibition, which is considered one of the largest specialized exhibitions in the Middle East and Africa, in a way that expresses Egypt’s regional and international status.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, the Egyptian Armed Forces signed several memorandums of understanding with the aim of exchanging experiences in various military fields.

Inspection tours of the exhibition’s various pavilions included exhibits from various global, international and local companies of the latest equipment, technologies and advanced security systems in the field of defense industries.
