Florida health care providers are asking the Florida Supreme Court to review a case seeking to challenge the state’s ban on abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy, saying the new law violates the state constitution.
The plaintiffs will ask the court to accept jurisdiction over the case and consider their request to block the law, which took effect on July 1, the plaintiffs, including the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, reported Wednesday.
