Winner of numerous freestyle challenges, Clementino has shown his talent in the world of rap but not only. In fact, with The Voice Senior and Made in Sud, he has also shown that he knows how to tread the television stage, achieving great success and excellent popularity. But in his life he sometimes had to face difficulties, as he himself stated. Here’s what he told of his past about him.

Clementino and his drama, a situation that changed his life

Clementino slowly made his way into the Italian show business: after a childhood spent between Nola and Cimitile in the province of Naples, he entered the Neapolitan hip hop environment by joining the Trema Crew when he was only 14 years old. After the project with them, followed by the one with TCK, the young man becomes familiar with freestyle and is recognized nationally with numerous awards. The singer has a drug problem, which has often derailed him over the years.

An intractable situation, which he himself then wanted to tell through an interview with Antonio Dikele Distefano. His words were strong, like a punch in the stomach: “In our part of our country we are in trouble … You know how it works, you are an artist, first they offer it to you, then you buy it and at a certain point it is no longer you. This vicious circle allowed him to escape, thanks primarily to his parents, who taught him the importance of finding himself. That’s how he decided to be followed by the community, hence the detox.
