Clearly: Coronavirus has passed from west to east. See where the outbreaks are

The districts of the Central Bohemian Region are similarly similar: to the west of Prague (Rakovník, Kladno, Beroun, Příbram) coronavirus infection is almost non-existent, to the east (Kolín, Kutná Hora) dozens of cases are registered.

The interactive map, which the News updates daily, shows the development by individual districts since the first reported cases in the Czech Republic. When the play button is pressed, the entire development is played back in time, from which it is clear how the infection has moved to the east of the republic in recent days and weeks.

The largest weekly additions are now in Karviná (+ 191), Frýdek-Místek (+84), Prague (+64) and Ostrava (+46). At present, the virus is also spreading in Kutná Hora, Nový Jičín, Olomouc, Jihlava, Brno and Uherské Hradiště.

Karviná has its main focus in OKD mines, Frýdek-Místek then lists a company that coincidentally produces protective and emergency clothing and in March sewed nanotextile drapes directly for the town of Frýdek-Místek. Last week, all employees had to go through testing.

Although the virus has been spreading in the Karviná region for a long time, no quarantine measures have been taken in the area and the operation of OKD mines has remained unchanged for weeks.
