Mohamed Abdel Salam, President of the Clearing Egypt Club, confirmed that the management decided to dismiss coach Ahmed Hossam Mido after the team became threatened with relegation from the Egyptian Premier League championship.
Abdel Salam said, in television statements to the channel “Zamalek”: “Mido made a great effort with the clearing and I respect him very much, but he missed his success.”
He added: “I was a listener when Mido saw the clearing exercises and what he offered with the team, and he was also participating with the players in some exercises.”
He continued: “I was hoping it would continue, but we could not be patient any longer because of the clearing status in the league table after it became threatened with relegation.”
The Clearing Head concluded: “We wish success in choosing the new technical director. We negotiated with more than one coach in Egypt and outside Egypt, but we did not expect any candidate and we did not agree with any of them.”
It is noteworthy that Egypt Clearing is currently ranked 15th in the table with 11 points in its possession after 14 rounds, after its failure to achieve any victory during the last ten games of the local competition.
