Clash at the San Nicolò intersection between a Red Cross ambulance and a Ford Focus.
Theater of the accident, on the evening of November 23, the crossroads between via via Emilia and via Agazzana in the hamlet of Rottofreno. The dynamics are being examined by the Polstrada; two were seriously injured, the Red Cross rescuer and the passenger in the Ford Focus. The ambulance driver and the driver of the subcompact were also taken to the emergency room for checks, their conditions do not cause concern.

The subcompact has finished its race against the window of a shop overlooking the intersection; in the collision a small column was also uprooted. On board the ambulance there were no injuries: the crew was on their way to Piacenza for an intervention. On the spot for the emergency medical services of 118 and the Public Valtidone Valluretta, together with the Red Cross of Ottone (in the city after carrying out a transport service) and the firefighters. The mayor of Rottofreno, Raffaele Veneziani, also reached the rescuers.
The intersection was closed to traffic to allow for vehicle safety operations; in support of the Polstrada also a patrol of the radio mobile of the carabinieri of Piacenza.
