The chief consultant mentioned that thanks to this year’s subsidies, the vehicle fleet of the civil guards has increased: more than 2,100 cars and new electric scooters help them in their efficient service.
The politician thanked the volunteer work of more than 66,000 civil guards, then continued by saying that the civil guards can count on the government next year as well.
In the video, András Túrós, the president of the National Civil Guard Association, said that they had a successful year. This year, they had three priority tasks: maintaining order in public areas and patrolling public areas, border protection, border service, and helping the elderly and sick, he said.
He stated that animal protection and contributing to responsible animal husbandry was a new task.
As he said: 35 new civil guard associations were founded this year and 2,000 new civil guards started their service.
