San Diego (Special) .- On the morning of this Saturday, March 6, the families from San Diego celebrated the eighth of the traditional “San Diego Tourist Carnivals”, through a rally that took place at various points established within the municipality.
Mayor León Jurado said that, “once again, we are holding an activity on wheels, to comply with biosafety measures, protect our people and at the same time provide a time of distraction to the people of San Diego.”
“For us it is a pleasure to carry out these activities for the benefit of the people, that they enjoy a time of recreation, culture and distraction, which all Venezuelans need so much,” added the mayor.
For her part, Korelia Salvatierra, Director of Education and Culture, highlighted that “the activity was carried out in two categories (Car and bicycle), and had the participation of more than 100 teams of four people”.
In the same way, he informed that the winners will be announced next week through the social networks of the Mayor’s Office @alc_sandiego, and the prizes will be delivered by Mayor León Jurado in his office.
