In line with current events, Samsung and Cisco have released new software solutions for the video conference service Webex. The companies say that they should simplify collaborative work regardless of location. The solutions, according to the announcement, simplify the use of Webex with Samsung’s digital signage products.
With Webex on Display, the two companies are delivering a solution for integrating Samsung QBR and QMR series displays into video conferencing systems. The HDMI-CEC-compatible digital signage devices automatically connect to the Webex Room Kit via Webex on Display.
The two companies will be presenting the Webex on Flip solution for interactive collaboration. The software for the Flip 2 from Samsung combine Webex Teams with the Webex Room Kit Mini. The solution enables a quick change between the user interface of the Webex Room Kit and the design surface of the Flip 2.
The third solution is called Webex Room Panorama and, according to the announcement, enables video conferences via QLED 8k displays from Samsung.
