Present on Tuesday evening on Romania TV, the president of PSD, Marcel Ciolacu, said that he cannot agree with the lack of antivirals in Romanian pharmacies, admitting that he bought drugs on the black market, more precisely from “a lady who he brought them from Moldova ”.
„(…) The grandchildren and their girlfriends fell ill with covid-19 and I bought the antivirals from a lady who brought them from the Republic of Moldova. It is unacceptable to have to buy, like this, from anyone (…) You have generic factories, well let them make them, sir, to have them with us in pharmacies, not to look for who knows what cousin, who knows I don’t know who from Moldova… ”commented Ciolacu.
Asked by the editor of România TV if the drug Arbidol was useful to his grandchildren, Ciolacu answered: “Yes. Absolute”
