Christophe Monzie: “In my opinion, we will have to take the six points that are missing against Strasbourg and Saint-Etienne, to live, at least sportingly and mathematically, in serenity”

Christophe Monzie, journalist for ARL, on Navy and White Top, gave his feelings on the maintenance of the Girondins de Bordeaux.

“They say you need three more points, I’m not even sure that with those points that’s enough (39). It remains to be seen whether we will win against Strasbourg… I remind you that Strasbourg remains on three victories in Bordeaux. We win there, but at home, we do not know how to put one foot in front of the other against this team. Even if we beat Strasbourg, I think it will take another victory. We should not then revive Saint-Etienne, another direct opponent … If we lose against Strasbourg and Saint-Etienne, these two teams will come back to our level, and behind we will have a lot of complicated outings facing teams that will to play the maintenance… It will be necessary to take, in my opinion, the six points which it lacks against Strasbourg and Saint-Etienne, to live, at least sporting and mathematically, of the serenity ”.
