Even if it is not yet yet, in Strasbourg, the traditional imposing tree has already been installed this Tuesday on the large Place Kléber, located in the city center. To take your mind off things and lift your spirits, there’s nothing like enjoying the Christmas spirit.

“It’s magnificent,” exclaims, a little moved, Julie, originally from Montpellier. The majestic 30 meter high tree, installed this Tuesday at Place Kléber, in Strasbourg, is not yet decorated. But this mother of three children is already taking a photo of him, with a big smile on her lips.
She’s already thinking about Christmas, especially this year. “More than ever,” she assures. “We need to bring joyful moments like these to life as much as possible, especially at the moment. And I find that it brings a little balm to the heart, even if the news is very heavy”, she continues. Note that the Strasbourg Christmas market will open its doors on November 24 at 2 p.m. and will end a month later, on December 24 at 6 p.m.

Two months before Christmas, it’s still a little early, admits Michèle. But this grandmother also already wants to plan ahead. “With everything that’s going on in the world, we really want to think about positive things,” she explains, adding with a laugh that her grandson “has already started making his list” of gifts.
Zacharie, 10 years old, is not there yet, but in front of this big tree, amazed, he is already rejoicing. “Christmas is my favorite time of the year, I can’t wait for it to arrive, I’m a fan!” His mother, Mélanie, absolutely wanted to show him the arrival of the tree. “As the energies are heavy at the moment, let’s connect a little to our childish spirit,” she smiles, just to give ourselves “a little magical break.”
