Leicester legionnaire Christian Fuchs continues to dream of being a kicker in the NFL.
The former ÖFB team captain is currently in the United States and “fled” with his wife and three children to Coronavirus in his country house outside New York City last week. In the video interview with “Sky Sports”, the 33-year-old explains that he is still pursuing the goal of changing sports.
“I will try. What is the worst thing that can happen? That they tell me that I am not good enough? Then it is fine, then at least I tried,” explains Fuchs.
The future at Leicester is still unclear
The left-back also says that when the NFL made a guest appearance in Europe, he had already completed trial training three years ago. He is said to have made a very positive impression on the coaches.
Despite the clear objective, Fuchs wants to remain loyal to football “as long as the body allows it”. He also enjoyed working in his own football academy.
His contract with the “Foxes” expires on June 30, but coach Brendan Rodgers is determined to keep the Austrian in his ranks.
