Chinese rocket can enter the atmosphere in an “uncontrolled” way and the debris fall on the Earth’s surface – Observer

A Chinese rocket will be back on Earth “soon” and there are no predictions of where it might land. At issue is the Long March 5B, which was used to put the first module of the Chinese space station Tiangong into orbit, and which was discarded after the mission.

The Chinese device will enter the atmosphere in an “uncontrolled” way and the possible debris, which is described as “huge”, will fall in an indeterminate place, which means that it is “unpredictable” to perceive the location of the Earth that may be affected. “It will be one of the biggest cases of uncontrolled entry of an aircraft [na Terra] and possibly [esta] can land in an inhabited area ”, can be read on magazine SpaceNews.

It is a rocket almost 50 meters high and over 20 tons. However, according to the specialized press, there is no reason to panic, since there is a high probability that the debris will fall in an uninhabited area, taking into account that the oceans occupy 70% of the Earth’s surface. In addition, most of the appliance should disintegrate during the fall.
