BEIJING, October 13 (Xinhua) – The China Development Bank has stepped up financial support for energy development in the first three quarters of this year.
Between January and September, the bank provided 406.9 billion yuan (approximately $ 57.2 billion) in loans to the energy sector to support the development of clean energy, ensuring energy supply and clean and efficient use of the coal.
This total includes 248 billion yuan in clean energy loans, providing strong support for the green and low-carbon energy transition.
Since the bank set up special loans to secure energy supplies in September last year, loans totaling 214.3 billion yuan had been issued by the end of September this year. end
