China clarifies news about Xi Jinping which angers Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau

China denied the president Xi Jinping scolded the prime minister You have Justin Trudeau after a video went viral showing Xi scolding Trudeau.

In the circulating video, Xi lectures Trudeau as a Canadian government source leaks their private talks to the media.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning said Beijing supports honest trade as long as the talks are held on an equal basis.

He also said China would take action to improve bilateral relations with Canada.

Earlier, Trudeau first opened up about his video entry.

He said the Canadian government has never officially released the results of its meeting with Xi. However, Trudeau confirmed that the meeting took place.

Trudeau also acknowledged that not all conversations with other heads of state were going to be easy. He said the systems in China and Canada are really different.

Videos of Xi appearing to be furious with Trudeau are circulating on social media. He was angry that the talks closed on the sidelines of the G20 summit were leaked to the media.

However, Xi was also seen smiling as he spoke to Trudeau in Mandarin.

Later, Xi’s interpreter conveyed the president’s intentions to Trudeau. The message contained Xi’s strong protest.

“Everything we talk about has been leaked to the media and is inappropriate,” the interpreter said.

Upon hearing this, Trudeau only cut him off by smiling at Xi. The number one person in China then returned to convey his feelings.

“If you are sincere, then we must carry out our talks with mutual respect. Otherwise, there will be unforeseen consequences,” he said.

Trudeau immediately interrupted by saying, “In Canada, we believe in free, open and frank dialogue. We will continue to work together constructively, but there will be things we don’t understand.”
