“My father’s eldest children had the villa seized. My mother, sister and I have therefore started summary proceedings,” Jan explains.
He says there is no dispute. “I also have good contact with everyone in my family. Also with my half-brother and sister. The settlement of an estate is just long processes and sometimes you do not agree with each other.” Jan therefore hopes that a lengthy lawsuit will be avoided. “My greatest wish is that we come to a good end as a family. My father would have wanted it that way.”
Nicole and Jean-Marc have according Quote seized the Naarden villa of Des Bouvrie in early January, which is currently for sale for 10 million euros. The two would not be happy with the calculation and the amount of their inheritance and have therefore had it seized.
So on the other side are Monique des Bouvrie, the widow of the deceased interior designer, and their father’s two youngest children, whom he and Monique had. The lawsuit will be heard in the court of Lelystad on Monday at 1 p.m.
