Children from 5 to 11 years old must be registered for the anti-Covid-19 vaccine

NAVOJOA, SON.- In order to have the adequate number of vaccines against Covid-19 and offer a safe return to face-to-face classesit is important to register all children from 5 to 11 years, Martin Preciado Bracamontes pointed out.

The Secretary of Welfare in the south of the State explained that the registry is the parameter to have knowledge of how many children are going to be vaccinated and where are they.

“That way we are going to be able to take the necessary vaccine to that sector or community of the city, without being less or more, since the biological ones cannot remain in places for a long time because they have an expiration date”he highlighted.

Preciado Bracamontes reported that the The Federal Government seeks to vaccinate 8 million children in the first stage.

“Indeed, we know that there is a greater number of children registered in the registry, there are around 15 million that do exist, but the possibility of vaccinating around 8 million is being considered”he reiterated.

The state official stated that the vaccination date will be by stages and municipalitiesso it is estimated that it is from June 20th when the days and venues are already being determined.

“The important thing is that for the next school year most of our children are vaccinated, since the classes will be in person”he stressed.

He recalled that it is important to register the greatest number of children, in order to have a correct logistics in the places where the sessions will take place.
