Chico Anysio’s son talks about his brother: ‘He doesn’t work in the family’

Son of Chico Anysio from Ceará, Nizo Neto revealed that Bruno Mazzeo, his brother, does not want to work as a family

The main name in comedy in Brazil, Chico Anysio left a legacy in humor that spanned generations. Having developed the genre in the country, the Ceará native influenced three of his seven children in their artistic careers.

Father of Nizo Neto, Bruno Mazzeo and Lug de Paula, Chico Anysio’s children, however, should not be seen working together. In an interview with “Planeta Podcast”, Nizo commented on his relationship with his acting brothers and revealed that the absence of a family project is due to Mazzeo’s lack of interest.

“Three of the brothers are comedians: me, Lug de Paula and Bruno. With Lug, I did ‘Escolinha’ and the program ‘Chico Anysio Show’. With Bruno, I did something, but Bruno doesn’t like working with the family. So, it doesn’t roll,” he said.

Actor and comedian, Nizo played Seu Ptolemeu in one of the versions of “Escolinha do Professor Raimundo”. The artist even shared the screens with Lug, who played the character Seu Boneco in productions created by Chico Anysio.

“That [a reunião] It would be great, because the public likes to see the family working together! I also didn’t have much trouble trying to find out why. Don’t want, don’t want. F*ck it,” she argues.
