Chelsea urged to give Armando Broja a chance despite West Ham transfer talks and was told by Thomas Tuchel to play him before Kai Havertz
Chelsea have been told to give Armando Broja a chance as their No.9.
The Blues are in need of a striker following Romelu Lukaku’s return on loan to Inter Milan after his disappointing first season at Stamford Bridge.
Kai Havertz is likely to lead Thomas Tuchel’s side line this season, while Raheem Sterling and Timo Werner may also play in the middle.
While Chelsea are likely to focus on adding defensive reinforcements ahead of the new campaign, with the club currently locked in a Jules Kounde battle with Barcelona, they also need attacking options.
But they could have a replacement for Lukaku already made at the club in Albanian international Broja.
The 20-year-old enjoyed a fine loan spell at Southampton, scoring six Premier League goals last season.
He flew home ahead of Chelsea’s pre-season tour to secure a move to West Ham, but nothing has been agreed yet.
Chelsea would prefer him to go on loan, but talkSPORT understands the player would prefer a permanent transfer.
