Then Mauricio Pochettino’s team impressed and beat Aston Villa 3-1.

Chelsea have recently had a tough time with two straight losses in the Premier League, while speculation has begun about coach Mauricio Pochettino’s future at the club.
But on Wednesday, the London club showed its true face in the FA Cup.
In the replay with Aston Villa away from home, Chelsea impressed and led 2-0 after 21 minutes of play following goals from Conor Gallagher and Nicolas Jackson. In the second half, Enzo Fernandez then punctuated the match, and thus Chelsea eventually won 3-1.
– I think so (that it was Chelsea’s best performance this season). It was one of my best, maybe the best this season. I am so happy with the performance and the way the boys played football, Pochettino told ITV.
Chelsea are now through to the fifth round of the FA Cup, where Leeds await on February 28.
In the Premier League, Chelsea is currently in eleventh place.
