Chelsea have decided against signing Joao Felix from Atletico after spending six months on loan at Bridge. The Blues could have negotiated another loan, or a permanent transfer, but they chose not to.
Fabricius Roman explains the reasoning behind the Blues’ decision.
“They think Nkunku can help in the No.9 position, but behind the striker mostly, that’s why Felix doesn’t stay,” the reporter said on his Amp show.
Romano added that Chelsea considered signing a new striker a priority, with Osimhen as their main target.
