Faced with the health crisis, the elected representatives of the municipalities of Eure-et-Loir are adapting, after Florent Gauthier to Lucé (Eure-et-Loir), it’s Michèle Bontoux’s turn, Mayor of Mainvilliers, municipality of Chartres Métropole, to send a video message, for the year 2021, to its citizens.
In a video posted on YouTube the Thursday, January 14, 2021, the mayor addresses her thoughts to the victims of the Covid-19 pandemic, and in particular to the victims of domestic violence.
Culture supported by the city
“Confined, we have never been so united,” said the elected, briefly returning to the health crisis.
Michèle Bontoux also mentioned upcoming projects, in particular “a fine example of partnership”, which will give birth to Micro-Folie de Mainvilliers, within a few weeks.
The city is also working on cultural programming and on the Saint-Hilaire festival, held in June, we hope that it will be held.
School rhythm and future leisure activities
Regarding related facilities to childhood and education, a future leisure center will normally be put into operation in 2021. “We are studying an expansion of the extracurricular reception of Pierre de Coubertin”, she announces.
Parents of Mainvilliers students will also be able to give their opinion on the children’s school pace.
To facilitate administrative procedures, the Family Portal will soon be deployed on the municipality’s website.
Finally, the mayor wishes “a green city, in the colors of hope”.
