The cover of the controversial French magazine comes in the wake of the much-discussed interview with Meghan and her husband Prince Harry.

In the interview, Meghan spoke about her feelings of loneliness and suicidal thoughts as a member of the British royal family.

She said, among other things, that she was often refused to leave Kensington Palace by the staff, and she said that there was a concern in the royal family about how dark skin color their son Archie would get.

On the front page of the magazine is the text «Why did Meghan leave Buckingham? Because I could not breathe ”under the drawing of the Duchess who is suffocated by the queen who has her knee on her neck.

The queen is chalk white, while Meghan is drawn dark.

Halima Begum of the British think tank Runnymede Trust, which works against racial discrimination, says that the drawing is wrong in every way.

– The queen portrayed as George Floyd’s killer, who crushes Meghan’s throat? Meghan, who says she can not breathe? This does not challenge racism. It downplays the problem and arouses indignation, she says Twitter.
