British media revealed the official image of the coronation of Charles III as King of the United Kingdom, where Charles appeared, accompanied by his son, Prince William and grandson, Prince George, in the throne room in his full formal clothes and holding the orb and scepter with the cross.
Charles III was crowned king last week in Britain’s biggest ceremonial event for seven decades, a show of pomp and grandeur that sought to blend 1,000 years of history with a monarchy fit for a new age.
The second wife of the British King, Camilla, was also crowned in Westminster Abbey, following the coronation of Charles III as King of the United Kingdom.
Camilla, 75, who is divorced from her first husband, is Charles’s second wife after Princess Diana, whom he divorced in 1996.
