Alexandra Trusova’s father announced his desire to independently choose commentators for his daughter’s performances. Channel One’s press service replied that she would like to retain the right to choose commentators and experts

The father of the silver medalist of the Olympics Alexandra Trusova really put forward a number of requirements for Channel One to appoint commentators and presenters with the participation of the skater, RBC was told in the Channel One press service.
“First” has always covered Alexandra Trusova’s career fairly and with respect for her work and achievements, in sports broadcasts, press releases and special materials dedicated only to Alexandra. This season, her father Vyacheslav Trusov really put forward a number of requests, among others, for the appointment of commentators and presenters of any programs involving Alexandra, as well as criticism of her, ”the press-service said.
The channel’s press service noted that “First” “would like to retain the right to independently choose sports commentators and pundits.” “They have the right to freely express their professional opinion on air. Taking this opportunity, we wish Alexandra a speedy recovery, we look forward to her performances at next year’s tournaments, which, as always, we will definitely show, ”the press service noted.
Formerly Telegram Mash channel informedthat the father of the figure skater asked Channel One to remove the Olympic champion Alexei Yagudin and the honored coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova from commenting on the performances and all events involving Trusova, otherwise he would not have participated in additional filming (interviews, work out). Note that the management of the channel refused to accept these conditions, after which the Channel One logo disappeared from the skater Olympics.
Salt Lake City Olympic champion Yagudin called Trusova’s father’s requests nonsense and said that he “will not allow anyone to touch” Tarasova. Last he has declared “Sport-Express” that Trusova is already an adult and can turn to herself, “if something is wrong.”
