Representatives of the Indonesian Manpower Agency Association came to Hong Kong a few days ago and held a press conference. Sun Yuhan also quoted that the Acting Consul General said that the policies and rules of the two governments remain unchanged, and that the Indonesian government and the Hong Kong SAR government should continue to discuss matters concerning the employment of Indian domestic helpers in Hong Kong as before.

Sun Yuhan met with the Acting Consul General of Indonesia in Hong Kong yesterday, and told the Acting Consul General that in order to maintain the long-term friendly, mutually beneficial and close cooperative relationship between Hong Kong and Indonesia, the Indonesian side should not make arrangements for the export of Indian maids that would increase the burden on Hong Kong employers or reduce the burden on Hong Kong employers.
